Midtown Modern
The quiet row of postwar homes on this block were relics from previous era and not meeting contemporary needs. Today's residents yearn for warm, welcoming, yet open homes which beckon and wrap its residents in comfort from the start. Simple architectural forms were augmented with a warm, soft exterior material palette and clearly define the home's function. The central entry, with its welcoming bench and warm casework, knits together the generously proportioned public great room and the more private two story bedroom/bathroom wing. Inside a clean neutral palette becomes a backdrop for colorful and energetic lifestyles. Down below a full basement allows families to expand and explore with flexibility over time.
